Well, I am back from small town America in Ohio. I went home to visit my family, and had an incredible time getting out of the city, and enjoying the long weekend. My home town of Chagrin Falls, Ohio has a large celebration for Memorial Day weekend, and my father made me promise I would come home every year to celebrate with him. It is always nice to get out of Chicago every once and a while to remember that there is grass out there, and you don't have to honk your horn if someone is moving at a slower pace than you. But while I was enjoying the life of leisure, I could not help but think about my new up coming adventure today.
I am meeting today with the CEO and Chief Creative Director of an advertising agency today. They are going to look at my book, and we will go from there. I am not expecting much, because this is a new ball game for me, which I am very excited about. If anything, it will be a great critique of my book, and now I will have a connection in a very large ad agency.
I also recently sent out a new self promo to a mixture of different ad agencies and magazines, to help promote some new fresh work. I figure it is summer time, and it is time to show them what I've got! The work isn't going to find you, you have to find it. So here goes nothing....or everything!
